In December 2022, we launched Numbers Mainnet, recognizing the importance of integrating Numbers Blockchain fully and as soon as possible for Capture App and the NUM token to become the primary application of the Numbers decentralized digital media network. We are delighted to announce that after months of hard work, Numbers Mainnet will be fully implemented into Capture App on 2023/2/22. All core functionalities, such as asset registration and NFT minting, are now available on our mainnet through Capture App, and a new fee structure will be implemented starting from the implementation date (2023/2/22).
Capture App is revolutionizing the way digital media should be generated, by providing a platform where authenticity and ownership of digital assets can be verified and assured.
With over 1 million downloads across 180 countries, Capture App allows users to back their photos and videos with on-chain integrity records, providing a secure and transparent history of the assets.
By doing so, creators can monetize their digital content confidently, turning their creations into NFTs for sale on the Capture marketplace.
With the Mainnet implemented, the registration process on Capture App has also been updated to make it more secure and transparent. With the new registration system, Capture App users can now enjoy a more secure and decentralized way of registering their photos.
Every photo captured in the upgraded system is granted:
- Permanent storage on the decentralized web (IPFS)
- A blockchain certificate (Asset Profile) that serves as a verifiable proof of creation.
- This creates an immutable and transparent record of each media file that builds trust within the decentralized ecosystem.
To encourage the adoption of the new system, after the new fee structure takes effect, we will be offering 3 Capture Credits to new users upon registration. These credits can be used to take up to 120 Captures and will help users explore the features and benefits of the Capture App. Moreover, as a thank-you to our active users, we are also launching an airdrop campaign to receive 25 NUM native tokens as a complimentary gift.

What will be different when I use Capture App?
To fully leverage the benefits of the upgraded system, users are required to pay a fixed registration fee of 0.025 NUM since February 22, 2023, along with a standard gas fee (approximately 0.0004 NUM). Existing users will get 1 Capture Credit after the migration is done so that your Capture experience will not be interrupted!
These fees can be easily paid using either NUM native tokens or Capture Credits. But what if I am the new user?
In order to provide a seamless experience for new users, every new sign-up for Capture App on or after February 22, 2023, will receive 3 Capture Credits for free. This allows new users to explore the full suite of features offered by Capture App and its integration for digital photos. With these credits, users can take up to 120 native Capture photos and enjoy the Web3 features.
What’s the difference between NUM native token and Capture Credit?

In brief, Capture Credit can only be used within Capture App and has the same value as NUM native token. It can be used to pay registration and gas fees, but not to purchase Capture NFTs. Capture Credit can be acquired through in-app purchases, as a new sign-up reward, referral reward, or through promotion campaign reward**. Credits obtained through in-app purchases will not expire, while those obtained as rewards (from sign-up/referral or campaigns) will expire after 90 days.
*Rewards may vary depending on the present campaign. Numbers Protocol reserves the right of final interpretation of the rewards and activities.
