Maturation: Introducing Numbers Protocol Status Page

If there is a term that characterizes where Numbers Protocol is today it is maturation. Numbers Protocol has come a long way from our humble beginnings. From the point of conception to the creation and fine-tuning of our protocol, products, and services, we have reached a point where our development process has shifted to emphasize stability, reliability, and functionality in the hopes that our products and services meet the needs and expectations of our users.

To that end, we are excited to announce the launching of Numbers Status Page. Numbers Status Page is an essential tool for achieving transparency and accountability to our stakeholders, allowing us to provide real-time updates on the health and performance of our products. By implementing a status page, we hope to demonstrate our commitment to delivering reliable and high-quality products and services that meet the expectations of our users and stakeholders.

Let’s take a closer look!

Numbers Protocol Status Page can be found here (https://numbers-protocol.statuspage.io/).

When we navigate the page, you are immediately met with a general status overview of Numbers Services. If all is well, the message will read “All Systems Operational.” Following that is a detailed breakdown of all the services, including Numbers Search Engine, Capture, Network Actions, Infrastructure, and NUM.

Each breakdown includes a 90-day color-coded summary of each product with a percentage uptime summary. Green signifies fully operational, with yellow and red indicating partial downtime. Hovering and clicking on each color tab will show additional details, such as the number of issues and the total time it was down.

The final section is a detailed recent incident report spanning two weeks with fall incident report history viewable via the “Incident History” link.

How is the Numbers Status Page beneficial to our stakeholders?

As consumers of products and services, we expect things to work properly. When things do not work, it creates confusion and problems for users, especially if the product and service are something we rely on. Having a status page helps bridge the communication gap when issues do arise. Users can identify issues and understand what is being done to resolve the issues. See the following incident report example on Numbers Status Page:

Like everything Web3 and Numbers Protocol, Numbers Status Page is about transparency and building trust. We want our community, stakeholders, and users to know what is happening with our products and have an active communication channel regarding inevitable issues with any technology. Numbers Status Page hopes to be that medium providing users with a glance view of the current health of the products and services they are using.

We are all ears if you have any comments and suggestions on improving Numbers Status Page! Let us know by commenting or leaving a comment on our social channels.

Let us grow and mature together with Numbers Protocol!
